OUR ART IS US

Sisterhood December Program
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2007
10:00 a.m.

Featured Speaker: Diane Fishbein

Diane is a visual artist who specializes in ceramics. She teaches at Northern Kentucky University, works for the Arts Learning Program of the Ohio Arts Council, and currently has a piece on exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Diane has devoted her life to bringing “art to the masses”, teaching her love of art and exploring art around the world. Following a light continental breakfast, Diane talked about her concepts in art. Sisterhood members wrote messages on slips of paper and stuffed them inside a ceramic "rock." She then gave a presentation on the Ganesha festival in India and demonstrated how to make a variety of clay art.

Sarah Barnard, Sisterhood President

Cynthia Dember, Programming Chair, introduced the guest speaker.
