NHS Men's Club Seventh Annual Shabbat on the Range Friday, July 23, 2010 Kabbalat Shabbat Service and Dinner 6:00 p.m. On Friday evening, July 23rd, NHS celebrated its 7th Annual Shabbat on the Range Kabbalat Shabbat service and dinner, hosted by NHS Men's Club. The event began at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, as NHS members Judy Miller (voice), Gayna Bassin (violin) and Jeff Gushin (guitar) serenaded the congregation with a medley of cowboy tunes. Then, the Kabbalat Shabbat service began with instrumental accompaniment until L'Cha Dodi. After the service, NHS members and guests enjoyed a delightful cowboy-themed dinner of roast brisket (Kosher bison was not available this year), beans, corn and assorted cookies and fruit.
