Sisterhood Paid-Up BrunchSunday, November 13, 2011NHS Sisterhood held its opening program in the Zorndorf Social Hall on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. with a delicious buffet brunch, a raffle with many exciting prizes, and a performance of Broadway songs by CCM singer Victoria Cook and pianist Trevor Gomes. Sisterhood President Roz Shapiro welcomed everyone to the event, and after Sarah Barnard led a spirited Birkat HaMazon, Programming Co-Chair Bobbi Handwerger introduced each of Sisterhood's newest members and presented them with a red rose. Programming Co-Chair Sandy Spitz introduced the performing artists, who dazzled us with songs in a variety of styles. Finally, the raffle prizes were awarded. |
