Quintessential Marriage Celebration

The second annual "Quintessential Marriage Celebration" was held on Friday evening, May 20th, at 8 P.M. during Shabbat evening services. This very meaningful ceremony was planned by Rabbi Barnard to recognize couples whose anniversaries end in the years "1" or "6". Each couple will celebrate an anniversary which is a multiple of 5.
According to synagogue records, 28 NHS couples are celebrating a quintessential anniversary this year. Ten couples were in attendance on Friday evening, celebrating their 10th to 50th anniversaries, and each couple received a long-stem rose, courtesy of NHS Sisterhood.
The congregation was invited to a festive oneg reception after the service, sponsored by Diana and Henry Fenichel in honor of their 50th anniversary.
