Sisterhood

Gift Shop | Events | Board

Sisterhood’s main functions are to support the Synagogue in various ways, financial, social, supportive, spiritual and educational and to provide its members with great activities and social interaction. Often these functions are combined. We have fundraising activities, perform acts of chesed by supplying funeral meals when necessary, send holiday packages to college students, support the Jewish Theological Seminary and organize and conduct our Sisterhood Shabbat morning service.

We have a Rummikube group, a book review group, bakers, and we run a wonderful Gift Shop! Our new cook book is available in the Gift Shop. We also participate in joint activities with other Sisterhoods. This year we have a really dynamic programming committee and you can look forward to some fantastic programs.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year and we want to include you. All members receive a 10% discount in the Gift Shop.

Our Sisterhood is a very active group of dedicated women of many talents. Sisterhood open meetings often include a luncheon or dinner and a program of educational or Jewish interest. Meetings are held on Sunday mornings to accommodate working women's schedules.

Other Sisterhood activities include Hamantachen for College Students and Rummage Sale. Even the "work" is fun when done together with this enthusiastic group. For more information, please call (513) 931-6038.
